Oval Sound, S.L is a spanish start up passioned about music and technology, after years of research we’ve come with our first product called Oval, the first digital handpan. We’re based in Barcelona and our team is formed by creative people from different areas, from musicians to engineers, designers, artists, developers and coffee addicts.
ORDERS & PAYMENT
HOW TO ORDER
At present we can only accept pre-orders placed at our online store.
We plan to offer Oval though an international network of distributors and retailers, but this option will not be available until 2017.

You will be asked to introduce your personal and shipping details.
Shipping cost will be calculated once you introduce the country where your order will be delivered.
We ship to most countries in the world. However, if your country is not included on our list, please contact us and we’ll try to find a solution.
TAXES AND CUSTOMS
Your order may be subject to customs and taxes. Please check you national regulations.
All orders are charged with VAT, except for European companies registered at “Register of Intra Community Operators”.
When you input your company’s VAT number, we validate it against this registry and immediately deduce Value Added Tax from your order/invoice.
If you need an invoice for your order, check the corresponding box, and input your invoicing details.
Your invoice will be sent to you by email in a few days.
You can chose to pay for your order by credit card, by Paypal or by Bank Transfer.
If you choose to pay by credit card or Paypal, you will be redirected to a secure payment platform (SSL) where you will be able to input your payment details.
If your payment goes through correctly, you will be returned to our website where you will be shown an “ok message” and will also receive a confirmation email notification.
In case there is any problem with the payment, your bank/Paypal will show you an “error message” and invite you to return to our website, where we will offer you other payment alternatives.
Equally we will send you an email explaining that no amount was charged to your account, and suggesting other payment methods to finish your order.
ORDER AND PAYMENT RECEIPT
If your order has been processed correctly, you will receive a confirmation email with all the details: order id, products, contact details, etc.
In case you requested an invoice, you will receive it in a few days.

SHIPPING & RETURNS
Oval First Edition: KickStarter Very Early birds, Kickstarter Early Birds, KickStarter standards backers, web preorders from August 2015 until October 2016. We expect to deliver the first 1000 units batch from November 2016 in strict order of purchase.
Oval Second Edition: Pre-orders made from November 2016. Delivery period: Summer 2017.
We realize we are asking you for a lot of patience, but we are confident it will be worth it.
Oval has gone through a long an tough development process, since its KickStarter launch, spring 2015.
We have now finished with all the design, development, and testing of the Oval prototypes, but the waiting line for some of the components has turned out to be huge.
Oval is using some really amazing technology, we believe it’s our duty to make it as advanced and efficient as possible, and we must make sure it doesn’t get old in a couple of years; it is an investment so it has to be built to last…

Our Return & Warranty Policy ensures you will have a fantastic experience with Oval and total peace of mind.
We didn’t know whether to offer 30-day free-return from the date of purchase or from the date of delivery, so we decided to offer you both.
If after the pre-order of an Oval you feel unsatisfied for whatever reason, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a full refund.
Additionally, once you receive your Oval, you’ll have another extra 30 days to try Oval and decide whether to keep it or return it and request a full refund.
You can return your Oval no matter the reason, no questions asked, we will respect your decision.
HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
To request a refund, just contact our customer service team here, and ask for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) within 30 days from the date of purchase/delivery of your Oval.
Returned product(s) must be in good physical condition (not physically broken or damaged). All accessories originally included with your purchase must be included with your return.
You are responsible for and must pay all shipping charges and you shall assume all risk of loss or damage to the products while in transit back to us.
Shipping charges and taxes paid (e.g., customs, VAT) are not refundable.
If you return Product (a) without an RMA or (b) without all parts included in the original package, OVAL SOUND retains the right to either refuse delivery of such return or charge you a restocking fee of 15% of the original price of the product or the retail value of the missing accessories, whichever is higher.
Refunds will be processed and paid within 2 weeks of OVALSOUND receipt of Product.
